I will be 27 on Sunday, and how it seems to be every year, I find myself knee deep in the birthday blues. At least I'm not as bad as years past, there were a few times when I didn't even want to come out of my room in the days prior, then what do you know, on the actual day I end up having a great time and it was all for nothing. I'm just in a bummed kind of mood today, so I got up, curled my hair (with hot rollers eek!) and am treating myself to sushi for lunch. I feel perked up already. Add to that the graphic that Nance made for me during a fit of boredom, and it's shaping up to be a great day! I love the graphic, totally a breath of fresh air. :-) Check out the main page to see what I'm talking about.

So the birthday party plans are in place for tomorrow night, a night of dancing and many cocktails I'm sure. I know I lack enthusiasm here, but I'm sure it'll be a blast. Stay tuned for pics next week.

So, a point made by Sen. Bob Kerrey on the Today show this morning is food for thought, a simple, obvious point about Rice's testimony. She has said that they were in contact with the fcc about possible hijack risks, but never realized the possibility as planes being used as missiles themselves. Bob Kerrey points out to the shock that one of the flights had been hijacked at all, before any of them flew into anything. The FCC wasn't prepared for that, they had no clue what was going on. A good point, I thought.

You know, if Boston Rob manages to win this Survivor I just might puke.

Most people would be alarmed if their soon-to-be husband turned to them and said he wanted to punch a woman in the face. But when Aaron turned to me last night and said "man, sometimes I just want to punch Omarosa in the face." I couldn't have smiled bigger. A man after my own heart!

Also, another reason my mood is lighter today, I listend to my Greatest Hits of The Mama's and The Papa's on the way to work this morning and hot damn, if you don't feel good after listening to Creeque Alley and California Dreamin' ... well, then it's a sad day. :-)

Holly tries to get warm at the beach last weekend.

Molly likes to hide under the basket and attack Asa when he walks by.

Asa: "what the?"
